
A little history of HE Silos...
HE Silos is an Australian owned and operated family business which commenced operations in 1969 as Hillston Engineering as a general engineering business operating in Hillston NSW.
The direction of the business evolved into agricultural machinery then grain storage shed fabrication and erection.
1972, the company moved into design and fabrication of transportable grain silos operating in Hillston, NSW. To centralise operations into the Central West wheat belt, HE Silos in 1984 opened a modern factory in Forbes NSW.
In 1997, HE Silos began operations in Northern NSW by opening a new factory in Gunnedah, NSW, which allows us to deliver to a wider region throughout NSW.
In 2005 a new purpose built facility was completed in Forbes to include large capacity silos (On-Site).
2006 saw change with a new generation taking charge in Forbes, NSW with current owners Steven and Jenny Morrison.

In 2011 the construction of a further factory has trebled production capacity.
In 2014, HE Silos Forbes won Excellence in Product and Business of the Year in the local BOSCAR Awards. 2015 seen HE Silos Forbes became a finalist at the Central West Orana Business Awards in awards such as Excellence in Sustainability, Excellence in Business Ethics, Excellence in Business Leaders, and Excellence in Business. In 2016, HE Silos Forbes has also became a finalist in the Central West Orana Business Awards for Excellence in Business Ethics, Excellence in Innovation, and Excellence in Business.
HE Silos understands the importance of effective grain storage and the importance of protecting the quality of stored grains as the demand of food production globally increases in the future and makes it our mission to provide every customer with the best technology and information to succeed in this industry.
